Epigenetic Portrait — Textile installation, 60 × 60 cm, 2025

Epigenetic Portrait explores DNA and epigenetics through layers of folded white and natural-coloured fabric. The fabric represents the relative stability of the genome, while coloured marks reflect the influence of experience and environment on identity. Lighter areas evoke coding sequences and conscious awareness, while the darker, predominant areas suggest non-coding DNA and the subconscious. Through folds, layers, and colour, the work explores human plasticity and the interplay between nature and nurture.
